The Eagle Creek Gulch prospect is on lands conveyed to Doyon Ltd. For additional information, contact Doyon Ltd. at 210 1st Ave., Fairbanks, Alaska, 99701.
Location: The Eagle Creek Gulch occurrence is iocated just below the Stone Lode (MD074), in Section 17, T. 27 S., R. 21 E., of the Kateel River Meridian. Location is known to within 2,500 feet (762m).
Geology: The Eagle Creek Gulch placer occurrence is a poorly understood concentration of placer gold at the head of Eagle Creek, below the Stone gold skarn deposit (MD074). May be, in part, a residual placer deposit. Age of mineralization is unknown.
Workings: Some placer mining has taken place in the 1920s and 1930s but no production records were found.
Production: Production tests were completed in the 1920s and 1930s; unkown production.
