A dolostone deposit/quarry located in sec. 1 (?) and in the NW¼ sec. 12, T2S, R8E, ___, about 1.1 km (0.7 mile) SSW of Bluffton, on private land. Owned/operated by the Bluffton Stone Company (1978). The USGS MRDS database stated accuracy for this locality is 100 meters. T&R data lacking the meridian.
Mineralization is a dolostone deposit (dolomite and undifferentiated dolostones of the Salina group). Minerals occur in cavities of Tymochtee Local rocks include rocks of the Salina Group.
Property includes a processing plant.
