Descrição: Duas massas lenticulares de magnetite orientadas N-S, com alguns sulfuretos, interestratificadas em vulcanitos básicos que repousam em discordância sobre uma série calcária câmbrica. Mineralizações hercínicas.

Morfologias: Estratiforme, Lenticular
Rochas Encaixantes: Leptinitos, Mármores, Meta-vulcanitos básicos
Geologia Local: Complexo Vulcano-sedimentar de Ficalho. Granito de Pias-Pedrogão.
Geologia Regional: Ordovícico - Silúrico(?). Granitos hercínicos.
