Large crystals of calcite, dolomite, adularia, albite, and quartz, which can attain the size of several centimetres, and abundant apatite, as tabular crystals up to 0.5 cm, are present in the fissures of large limestone boulders, almost at the top of a huge talus, in the upper valley towards Col Sapin.
