A feldspar quarry in a granite pegmatite. This pegmatite was unusually rich in muscovite of saleable quality.

Bjørlykke locality n° 43. Must not be confused with the quarry Barth (1931) called "Landås III", which is identical with Landås 4 (Beinmyr).

Bjørlykke (1934) places Landås 3 at the northwestern slope of the Vardeheia (Varaheia).

However, on the altitude map, there is no trace of something convincingly resembling a quarry.

Corneliussen at pegmatite.no broke with Bjørlykke by numbering the Landåstunnelen 1 locality as the first of a series of Landås localities.

The Landåstunnelen 1 locality (of Corneliussen) is Bjørlykke's identical with Landås 5.
There is therefore at this point in time doubt about the exact location of this quarry.

The coordinates are for a point in the middle of the northwestern slope of the Vardeheia.
