Abandoned quarry in calcite marble (folded and embedded in hornblende schists).
Length of marble unit is ca. 300 m, depth about 35 m.
First mentioned in 1375. Active as a quarry until ca. 1835. Underground mining until 1908. In 1936 transformed into an underground tourist mine by Willy Reinhardt, at that time called "Rabensteiner unterirdische Felsendome", today called "Felsendome Rabenstein".
