Water evaporation saltworks from springs and wells close to the Rio Salado. The salt obtained, halite, comes from the dissolution of salt deposits in levels of Keuper (Triassic Age). These saltworks ceased their activity in 2002. Nowadays, its installationss are quite well preserved, they are cataloged as cultural heritage, and enabled for touristic visits. The area is classified as a micro-reserve.

Salinas de evaporación de agua de manantiales y pozos en la cuenca del río Salado. La sal obtenida, la halita, proviene de la disolución de depósitos de sal en niveles de Keuper (Edad Triásica). Estas salinas cesaron su actividad en 2002. Hoy en día, sus instalaciones están bastante bien conservadas, están catalogadas como patrimonio cultural y habilitadas para visitas turísticas. La zona está catalogada como microrreserva.
