Region measuring approximately 3 x 10 km, located along the south side of the Mavuzi River (comprising the Inhatobue, Cabuazi and Capompo tributaries rivers).

Patchily distributed mineral locations around pegmatitic and syenitic intrusions with radioactive minerals.

Mostly found in the gabbroic country-rock near the intrusion contact.

The prospect was found in 1947 and produced more than 150 tonnes of davidite ore in the following years.
