A former surface and underground Cu-Au-Zn-Pb-Ag-Mo mine. Produced 1934-1948. Claims extend into sec. 29.

Mineralization is a vein deposit with a tabular ore body. Ore control was faulting and shearing. Ore concentration was oxidation at near surface. Minor alteration was noted. An associated rock unit is the Government Canyon Granodiorite and the informally named Walker Stock (Walker Granodiorite).

Area structures include veins sometimes parallel to regional foliation in Precambrian rocks which trends N10E to N45E.
