A brine-Br occurrence located on the S side of the Salt River, opposite the Salt River Canyon Campgrounds, about 3¼ miles NW (downstream of) Mule Hoof Bend (Oxbow Bend), and about 4½ air miles W (downstream of) the highway 77 bridge.
Mineralization is water issuing from Orange Spring is highly saline. The source is unknown. Local rock is diabase.
Assay data: 37,300 ppm dissolved solids, largely Na and Cl.
