A former W-Pb-Au-Ag-Mo-Cu mine located in sec. 11, T7S, R14E, on the SW slope of Antelope Peak, 11 miles SW of Winkelman, on private land.
Mineralization is a quartz vein hosted in granite. The ore body is tabular, strikes N75E, dips 45-60SE, and stands at 0.3 meters thick. The fissure zone of irregular eastward trend is traceable for 2000 feet. Outcrops are marked by iron stain and in places by lenticular bodies of coarsely crystalline, cellular, dull-white quartz. Sporadic ore mineralization in quartz veins; small powellite particles with irregular bunches od scheelite and wolframite; also in this occurrence are Mo & Ag.
Regional structures include block faulting trending-NNW; minor Pre-Cretaceous E and NE-trending folds and major Post-Cretaceous NNW-trending faults.
Workings include a 70 foot deep inclined shaft and 50 feet of drifts.
Analytical data results from 5 tons of ore taken from the dump in 1942, reduced to 123 pounds of concentrate that yielded 33.1% WO3: 0.28% Cu; 9.82% Pb; 2.53 oz. (Au ?); and 6.28 oz. Ag.
