A former underground Cu-Au-Pb mine located 10 unpatented claims in secs. 3-5, T5S, R16E, on the Gila River, about 2¾ miles SW of Lee Mountain and about 4½ miles NE of Winkelman.
Mineralization is hosted in Tornado Limestone. The ore body strikes N55E, dips steeplySE, and is 1.22 meters wide. The prospect on the Gila River is in a small fault block of limestone surrounded by andesite, cut by a dike of hornblende porphyry, which shows the mineralization.
The shaft is full of water. The vein is exposed in a series of shallow cuts. The prospect on the Gila River features several short tunnels and a shallow shaft.
