Ref.: The Iron Mines of New Jersey (1910), Bayley: 215-216; NJ State Geol. Annual Rpts.: 91879): 84-85; (1881): 37; (1882): 74; (1900): 177. An iron mine in magnetite ore located on the East slope of Jenny Jump Mtn. about 1½ miles from its NE end. Started 1879 and closed around 1882. Workings featured a shaft and some drifts (1879); a veritcal shaft 123 feet deep was added (1881).
