An iron mine in magnetite ore located on the eastern slope of Jenny Jump Mtn. about 2 miles NW of Danville. Started 1871 and worked until 1900. Ore vein was 50 feet (16 meters) wide at surface, then 20 feet, then 8 feet with depth. Produced 125,000 tons ore.
