An Fe occurrence/mine in magnetite ore located just North of High Bridge. Started as early as 1720. Reopened 1864-1879, finally abandoned 1889.
Workings include surface and underground openings comprised of a ¾ mile long by 200 foot deep opening (by 1868) with a 30 foot deep shaft.
Produced a total of 69,180 tons of ore.
