Annual Rpts.: (1855):164; (1868):614-616; (1873):66; (1879):72; (1880):113; (1883):131; (1884):99; (1885):105; (1886):141; (1890):114; (1896):325; (1899):159, 169-170. Am iron mine in magnetite ore located about 3 miles West of Milton. Started before 1855 and closed about 1874. Reopened 1879-1883, 1884-1885, 1886-1896, then a little in 1899. Ore deposit was 2 ore shoots (veins): Glendon vein = 9 to 12 feet (3 - 4 meters) thick by 400 feet long. Workings were 104 feet depp by 1855, 250 feet deep by 1886.
