Nejo is a town in the woreda of Nejo in the Oromia Region.
One of the world's oldest gold mines, located near Gimbi. Farmers still pick up small gold nuggets on the soil surface after heavy rains. Alleged by Ethiopians to be the site of King Solomon's mines.
Formerly in Wallaga (Welega; Wollega; Ouallega) Province.
