The mine is located in the Mistake State Forest, 19 kms west of Argents Hill.

The mine was worked via adits and shallow pits.

This mine and others in the area are located in what is also known as the “Taylors Arm Antimony Province”. This terminology appears on many geological maps.

The mines in the area are approximately 30-40kms west of Macksville and to the immediate east and west of the Taylors Arm River.
