Located in the SE1/4 SE1/4 NW1/4 of section 36,T.2 S.,R.2 E.,near the head of Mineral Fork of Big Cottonwood Canyon,at an elevation of 10,230'.
Discovered in the 1880's,explored by an upper and lower adit(known as the Wasatch Gold Mine).total underground workings= about 5720'+.
Ore shoots consists of vein fissures,producing little results(less than 1000 tons over the life of operations).
