An Mo-Cu-Pyrite occurrence/prospect located in the E½ sec. 24, T20N, R15W, G&SRM, 5.3 km (3.3 miles) ENE of Pine Lake (town), on the E side of the Hualapai Mountains, on Bureau of Land Management administered land. There is conflicting information regarding the location. The Arizona Department of Mineral resources (ADMR) molybdenum report shows it to be in the W½ sec. 24. The property consists of 6 unpatented claims. The USGS MRDS database stated accuracy for this locality is 100 meters.
Mineralization is a polymetallic deposit hosted in gneiss. Local alteration includes sericitization. Associated rocks include Cretaceous quartz monzonite (age = 65.2 ± 2.4). Local rocks include Early Tertiary to Late Cretaceous granitic rocks.
Local geologic structures include the Soap Wash Fault (?) zone; and mineralized NE fractures.
Workings include unspecified underground openings and drill holes.
