A Au-Ag-Mo-Cu-Zn-Pb occurrence/mine located in the NE¼SE¼ sec. 29, T17N, R14W, G&SRM, S of Deluge Wash, 1 mile E of the Venture dump and 2.3 km (1.4 miles)SW of Diamond Joe Peak (coordinates of record), on Bureau of Land Management administered land. The USGS MRDS database stated accuracy for this locality is 100 meters.
Mineralization is a polymetallic deposit hosted in granite. It involves the Sunrise breccia pipe. Ore control was strong quartz veins. Associated rocks include the Late Cretaceous Diamond Joe Stock quartz monzonite. Local rocks include Early Tertiary to Late Cretaceous granitic rocks.
Local geologic structures include a barren N40W fault that cuts granite stock with NE side upthrust, exposing barren roots.
