A former W-Cu-Mo-pyrite occurrence/mine located in the NE¼SW¼NW¼ sec. 25, T20N, R15W, G&SRM, E of Pine LAke (village), just N of Wheeler Wash, 3 miles SE of Dean Peak, on Bureau of Land Management administered land. Additional workings are located in sec. 26. Owned by J. T. Odle, Arizona (1978). Operated by Amax Exploration, Incorporated, Arizona (1978). Produced in 1939. The USGS MRDS database stated accuracy for this locality is 500 meters.

Mineralization is W ores hosted in Neoproterozoic gneiss, with some Cu ore. The ore body strikes N18E and dips 85SE at a width of 0.61 meter and a length of 213.36 meters. Local rocks include Early Tertiary to Late Cretaceous granitic rocks.

Workings include surface and underground openings with an overall depth of 12.19 meters and comprised of several shallow open cuts.

Production statistics: Year: 1939: ore (accurate): ^10 weight percent WO3.

Analytical data results: Samples: 0.01, 0.01, 0.01, 0.01, 0.98 and 1.20% WO3.
