I think it makes more sense to have the battles in either alphabetical or chronological order than Hastings, Fulford, Stamford Bridge. I have changed to chronological for now, but please feel free to discuss this. Dunarc (talk) 12:43, 14 October 2017 (UTC)Reply

@Ealdgyth: surely we want a sidebar, like the Anglo-Saxon series, rather than a navbox?

If we'd wanted a sidebar ... we'd have made a sidebar. This has worked fine as a navbox for 13 years. Since most of the articles are linked in the text, it doesn't make sense to take up so much space with a repeat of those links. Ealdgyth (talk) 16:13, 21 May 2026 (UTC)Reply
