Happisburgh - request for article review

[edit]

Hello. The Happisburgh article has been substantially expanded and rewritten over the past few weeks, with improved sourcing and structure. It is currently assessed as C-class, and I believe it may now meet the B-class criteria. I'd be grateful if someone could reassess it. Thank you. Purplejumper (talk) 09:01, 3 August 2026 (UTC)Reply

British English?

[edit]

In the article The Rocky Horror Show, a musical that originated in England, as well as in the article Dr. Frank-N-Furter, about the leading character in that musical (as well as in the subsequent film version), the character's name is spelled with the dot (.) after Dr. I believe that it should be spelled without the dot. Both articles state, on the edit screens, "use British English". What do others think? -- Ssilvers (talk) 08:06, 28 August 2026 (UTC)Reply

For the name of a fictional character, we should first see if there is a canonical name in the original sources and use that if there is one. If not then we should look to see whether there is a common name, and use that if there is one, with our style guidelines as the fallback third option. This is a conversation that should be happening on an article talk page though. Thryduulf (talk) 09:58, 28 August 2026 (UTC)Reply

Colchester Zoo

[edit]

Could someone from this WikiProject take a look at Colchester Zoo? I'm asking here because the two WikiProjects listed on the article's talk page say "semi-active" and "inactive". I have no experience in assessing article about zoos per se, but the "Future plans" and the two exhibits sections seem like they might have issues (WP:CRYSTAL, WP:NOTDIRECTORY, etc.) but maybe such things are de rigueur for articles about zoos. -- Marchjuly (talk) 05:03, 8 September 2026 (UTC)Reply
