Campaign website
Pollard's campaign website stated the following:
Putting Jackson County Residents First
Jackson County deserves leadership that is transparent, accountable, and focused on serving the people who live and work here. These priorities reflect a commitment to protecting taxpayers, managing county resources responsibly, and ensuring every community has a voice in the decisions that affect their future.
Fair Property Taxes
Property owners deserve an assessment process that is transparent, predictable, and grounded in facts. Families, seniors, and small businesses should not be blindsided by sudden spikes or confusing property valuations that create uncertainty and financial strain.
I will advocate for greater transparency and accountability in the assessment process so residents understand how values are determined and have confidence that the system is being applied fairly. Responsible funding for county services matters, but it should never come at the expense of fairness to taxpayers. Jackson County can support essential services while also protecting property owners from inflated assessments and unnecessary burdens.
Responsible, Accountable Spending
Government should manage taxpayer dollars with the same care families and businesses use every day. Residents work hard for their money and deserve confidence that county resources are being used wisely and efficiently.
I believe in disciplined, line-by-line accountability and a budgeting process that prioritizes essential services while eliminating waste wherever possible. Fiscal responsibility is not about spending less for the sake of spending less—it is about spending smarter. Transparent decision-making and careful stewardship can help keep Jackson County affordable, sustainable, and financially strong for years to come.
One County That Works for Everyone
Every community in Jackson County deserves to be heard, respected, and served. Strong county leadership means recognizing that different communities have different needs while ensuring every resident receives reliable and responsive government services.
I will work to build trust through communication, accessibility, and a commitment to putting people ahead of politics. Whether you live in a large city, a small town, or an unincorporated area, county government should show up, listen, and deliver. Our goal should be a Jackson County where every resident feels represented and every community has the opportunity to succeed.
Moving Jackson County Forward
Good government begins with listening, accountability, and practical leadership. These priorities are centered on common-sense solutions that strengthen our communities, protect taxpayers, and build confidence in county government once again.
