Jason Pizzo
Jason Pizzo (No Party Affiliation) is a member of the Florida State Senate, representing District 37. He assumed office on November 8, 2022. His current term ends on November 7, 2028.
Pizzo (No Party Affiliation) ran for election for Governor of Florida. He will not appear on the ballot for the general election on November 3, 2026.
On April 24, 2025, Pizzo announced that he was leaving the Democratic Party and would not have a party affiliation. He also resigned as senate minority leader.[1]
Biography
Jason Pizzo was born in Somerville, New Jersey. Pizzo earned a B.A. from New York University in 1999, an M.S. from Columbia University in 2007, and a J.D. from the University of Miami in 2010. His career experience includes working as an attorney. He has been affiliated with Kiwanis of Northeast Miami-Dade, the Aventura Marketing Council, and the Greater Miami Chamber of Commerce.[2]
