About Chrysoprase

From the Greek χρυσός (chrysos) meaning 'gold' (sheen) and πράσινον (prasinon), meaning (leek) 'green'.
An apple-green to greenish variety of chalcedony. The colour is caused by tiny inclusions of Ni-bearing layer silicates (willemseite, népouite or others).
