About Arctite SupergroupHide

A supergroup of hexagonal intercalated antiperovskites proposed by Galuskin et al. (2018), and modified by Galuskin et al. (2021).

The group was officially established in 2020 (IMA proposal approved in February 2020 (Memorandum 95–SM20). The supergroup is divided into the zadovite group (alternation of tetrahedral layers and antiperovskite layers –TA) and the arctite group (alternation of tetrahedral layers and triple antiperovskite layers –TA3).
An ungrouped member of the arctite supergroup is aravaite.
