Golley & Williams (1995) report ferberite from Wheals Arthur and Edward, quoting Dines (1956). Though, Dines records ferberite only from a cross-course in the western part of the workings on North Lode, i.e. from Wheal Edward sett. On the other hand, since 'wolframite' is confirmed from both mines by various authors, the occurrence of ferberite at Wheal Edward is still possible .
