Comments:Pyrite occurs predominantly as cubes in the Landsverk 1 quarry.

Considerable amounts have been found in a chloritized zone not far into the quarry in the north wall.

However, nowadays it is getting increasingly harder to get out good crystals, if at all. It might very well be the case that this zone is depleted.

Elsewhere in the quarry, pyrite is rare.

An attractive rarity are pyrite crystals perched on crusts of tiny microcline crystals, sometimes forming a geode.
