Comments:Alleged by some to be present at La Juanona, and to be the cause of the color in the famous local blue quartz crystals, apparently based just on the colour, habit, and ophitic association. Analyzed specimens of the fibrous material associated with blue quartz are riebeckite - magnesioriebeckite, but some other specimens allegedly turned out to be aerinite-riebeckite intergrowths. No analyses have been published, and the ID remains questionable.
