Comments:No historical finds are known. One single specimen was found recently where the boulangerite forms fine needles growing out of dolomite in association with sphalerite. Uncovered under calcite by acid. The ID was done by Dr. J. Heider by direct comparison if its EDX spectrum with the spectra of known sulfosalts during the same EDS-session.
