Comments:Cooper & Stanley (1990): "[From the] upper and middle levels. Also recently identified (BM(NH): XRD) as minute lenticular crystals with mattheddleite, susannite, silver et. (M. Wirth, pers. comm.)."
Habit:Extremely thin flat plates with an irregular hexagonal cross-section and usually with a pearly lustre. Individual plates reach 1.5mm.; white masses up to 5mm across, superficially resembling cerussite but with a distinct cleavage and often surrounded by cerussite.; Euhedral translucent rhombs up to 0.5mm on edge on mattheddleite and closely associated with caledonite.
