Meikle (1989): "Chabazite is found only very rarely, forming small, clear, transparent, single, or penetration-twinned crystals <0.4 mm, associated in one specimen with a cavity (40 x 50 mm) filled with clear and malachite-coated or stained, nailhead crystals of calcite «3.5 x 6 mm). In this specimen the dull red tuffaceous matrix is intermixed with, and partly coated by, chalcopyrite altering to chalcocite and/or possible bornite."
