A former lode Au mine located in secs. 29, 31 & 32, T2N, R14E, MDM, 0.7 km (2,400 feet) WSW of Tuttletown, N of Mormon Creek (adjoins the Chila...[??]), on private land. The claim is 18 acres. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 1,000 meters.
MRDS database file note: Could be the same as the Suerer (?) (possibly means the Swerer Mine).
Mineralization is a vein deposit. The ore body strikes N35W and dips 65NE. The vein forms a system of irregular quartz stringers cutting amphibolite schist, forming pockets at the intersections of vertical stringers with those having a slight dip. Local rocks include undivided pre-Cenozoic metavolcanic rocks, unit 2 (undivided).
Workings include underground openings comprised of a 375 foot adit.
