A former lode Au mine located in secs. 24, 25 & 26, T2N, R14E, MDM, 0.8 km (2,800 feet) NNE of Browns Flat, in Tennessee Gulch (on the NW slope of Bald Mountain). The claim comprises 40 acres. MRDS database accuracy for this location is not stated.
Mineralization is hosted in mica schist. The ore body strikes NE and dips 10NW. The ore body strikes NE and dips 10NW. Local rocks include Paleozoic marine rocks, undivided, unit 4 (Western Sierra Nevada) and/or limestone of probable Paleozoic or Mesozoic age.
