A Au prospect (and former mine ?) located in sec. 6, T1N, R14E, and in the NW¼SE¼ sec. 31, T2N, R14E, MDM, about 2 miles SW of Tuttletown, W of French Flat, on private land. The claim is 20.65 acres. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 100 meters. Previous references indicate the locality being in sec. 6. Only Pl. 8, Logan (1949) shows the locality as given above.
Local rocks include ultramafic rocks, chiefly Mesozoic, unit 2 (Western Sierra Nevada and Klamath Mountains).
Workings include unspecified underground openings.
