A placer Au occurrence/claim(s) located in sec. 27, T1N, R13E, MDM, 3.0 km (9,900 feet) WNW of Peoria Flat (coordinates of record), along a south fork of Peoria Creek, on private land. The holdings are 320 acres (Logan, 1928); however, Logan (1949) shows only 160 acres, mostly in the N½ sec. 27. MRDS database accuracy for this location is not stated.
Local rocks include ultramafic rocks, chiefly Mesozoic, unit 2 (Western Sierra Nevada and Klamath Mountains).
