A former lode Au occurrence/mine located in sec. 32, T2N, R14E, MDM, 1.3 km (4,300 feet) S of Tuttletown, NE of French Flat and S of Mormon Creek, on private land. The claim is approximately __ acres (MRDS database data truncated). MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 500 meters.
Mineralization is a vein deposit hosted in slate and greenstone. The ore body strikes N35W and dips 42SW at a thickness of 1.22 meters. The hanging wall is slate and the footwall is greenstone. Local rocks include undivided pre-Cenozoic metavolcanic rocks, unit 2 (undivided) and/or pre-Cenozoic metasedimentary and metavolcanic rocks undivided.
Workings include underground openings comprised of a 380 foot crosscut adit intersecting the vein 140 feet below its outcrop. Drifts trend 140 feet S and 200 feet N. There are several shallow shafts on the surface.
