A former lode Au-Cu-Pb-Ag mine located in sec. 32, T2N, R14E, MDM, 1.4 km (4,800 feet) SSE of Tuttletown, S of Mormon Creek and ENE of French Flat. MRDS database accuracy for this location is not stated.
NOTE: There is apparently some question as to exactly where this locality is. The geographic coordinates provided in the applicable USGS MRDS file place it in sec. 32, as stated in this Mindat file, clearly in the Tuttletown District. A long, rambling and somewhat encrypted note is found in the MRDS file: "The claim is located near Sawmill Flat L (?) sec. 32, T2N, R14E, shown in references but geographical description in Kennedy Gulch Sawmill Flat near Sonora would be more accurate. Located in sec. 19, T2N, R15E USGS quadrangle Columbia SE California 1949 sh (?). Canady Gulch near Sawmill Flat sec. 32 is in Table Mountain A (?) (area?)." This note appears to make a case that it is located in the Columbia District near Sawmill Flat.
