A former Au prospect located in sec. 2, T1S, R14E, MDM, about 3 miles SSE of Stent and 2.7 km (8,800 feet) ENE of Chinese Camp, along the eastern shore of the Don Pedro Reservoir, on private land. The property consists of 5 (patented ?) claims totaling approximately 67 acres. MRDS database accuracy for this location is not stated.
Mineralization is a vein deposit hosted in greenstone. The ore body strikes N and dips E at a thickness of 1.22 meters. The hanging wall is slate, and the footwall is greenstone. Local rocks include undivided pre-Cenozoic metavolcanic rocks, unit 2 (undivided) and/or Jurassic marine rocks, unit 1 (Western Sierra Nevada and Western Klamath Mountains).
Workings include underground openings comprised of a 100 foot deep shaft.
