A former lode Au mine located in the NE¼SW¼ sec. 9, T1N, R14E, MDM, 1.9 km (6,200 feet) W of Jamestown (on N end of Whiskey Hill; NW of, and adjacent to, the Crystalline Mine), on private land. The property is comprised of 2 claims covering 40.74 acres and running 2,600 feet along the course of the Mother Lode. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 500 meters.

Mineralization is a vein deposit hosted in serpentinite and schist. The ore body strikes NW and dips E. The footwall is serpentine and the hanging wall is schist. The mineralization is widely dispersed and generally yielding low-grade ore. Local rocks include Tertiary volcanic flow rocks, unit 17 (Cascade Range).

Workings include surface and underground openings. The earliest production was from open cuts and glory hole workings. In 1922, the Crystalline and Alabama claims were jointly held and from the 600 foot level of the Crystalline shaft, extended to a point below the old 300 foot level of the Alabama shaft. In 1947 a drift was developed at the 300 foot level of the Alabama shaft and then crosscut 47 feet to a 6 foot thick ore vein.
