A former W occurrence/mine located in sec. 34, T18S, R27E, MDM, 1.4 km (0.9 mile) NNW of Dumtah and 4.5 km (2.8 miles) ESE of Yokohl. Operated in 1943. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 1,000 meters.
Mineralization is hosted in marble and schist. Moderately dipping beds of marbleized limestone faulted against steep-dipping mica schist produced a porous zone. Tactite along the faulted contact between marble and schist, extending 60 feet from a granite contact. Associated rocks include granite. Local rocks include Mesozoic granitic rocks, unit 3 (Sierra Nevada, Death Valley area, Northern Mojave Desert and Transverse Ranges).
Local geologic structures include: A fault.
Workings include surface and underground openings comprised of a 15 foot deep shaft and a 40 foot long cut. Workings are from 1943.
