An asbestos occurrence located in sec. 33, T35N, R9W, MDM, 1.3 km (4,300 feet) S of Trinity Alps (resort town), on the divide between Bear Gulch and Cummings Creek, on National Forest land. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 500 meters.
Mineralization is serpentine float with 3 inch cross-fiber asbestos. Local rocks include schist of various types and ages, unit 7 (Klamath Mountains).
