A mica occurrence located in sec. 31, T36N, R8W, MDM, 3.1 km (1.9 miles) E of Gibson Peak, on Bureau of Land Management/National Forest wilderness land (Trinity Alps Wilderness). MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 500 meters.
Mineralization is a 20 foot wide pegmatite body. Local rocks include ultramafic rocks, chiefly Mesozoic, unit 1 (Trinity Ophiolite).
