A former Au-As-Cu mine located in secs. 22 & 29, T7N, R7E, HM, (land unsurveyed for township and range - projected), 3.4 km (2.1 miles) ESE of Fawn Ridge (coordinates of record), at Miller Ranch, along the New River (4 miles NNE of Bear Tooth Mountain), on National Forest land. Discovered in 1902. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 100 meters.
Local rocks include Paleozoic marine rocks, undivided, unit 9 (Western Klamath Mountains).
Workings include undergrond openings comprised of a 150 foot adit on veins, all in ore; 2 crosscut tunnels (upper 125 feet and lower at 400 feet long) with 122 foot raise between them plus 150 feet of drifts.
No production record was found. Ore was base to some extent, so that only 50% extraction was attained by direct amalgamation.
