A lode Au occurrence/prospect located in sec. 12, T37N, R10W, MDM, 2.2 km (7,200 feet) SE of Coyote Peak and 3.7 km (2.3 miles) NW of Packers Peak, on Bureau of Land Management/National Forest land (Trinity Alps Wilderness). First production was 1909. Ownership unknown. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 500 meters.
Mineralization is a vein deposit. Local rocks include Paleozoic marine rocks, undivided, unit 9 (Western Klamath Mountains).
Workings include unspecified underground openings.
Production statistics: 1932: period: 1909-1932: 400 ounces (12,441 grams) Au and 240 ounces (7,465 grams) Ag.
Dump samples contain to 1.87 ounces Au and 0.48 ounces Ag/ton. Probably a limited resource.
