A former lode Au mine located in sec. 21, T35N, R10W, MDM (land unsurveyed for township-range. Projected location of mine uncertain; however, coordinates provided place the location in very close proximity to an adit symbol on the topo map), 2.6 km (8,400 feet) ENE of Dedrick site, on Bureau of Land Management wilderness land (Trinity Alps Wilderness). MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 1,000 meters.
Mineralization is hosted in mica schist and granite. The ore body strikes NE
and dips 70SE at a thickness of 0.2 meters (2 to 8 inches) in a contact between porphyry and mica schist. Local rocks include schist of various types and ages, unit 7 (Klamath Mountains).
Workings include underground openings comprised of a 30 foot tunnel (adit).
