A former lode Au mine located in secs. 15, 16 & 21, T35N, R10W, MDM (apparently several locations. Land unsurveyed for township-range. Projected location - uncertain), 5.7 km (3.5 miles) ENE of Dedrick, along the Little East Fork Canyon Creek, on Bureau of Land Management wilderness land (Trinity Alps Wilderness). MRDS database accuracy for this location is not stated.
Mineralization is hosted in hornblendite and schist. The ore body is comprised of lens-shaped bodies. Ore control was a shear zone. Local rocks include schist of various types and ages, unit 7 (Klamath Mountains).
Workings include underground openings consisting of an adit driven on No. 2 level of the Globe, which was driven through the mountain from the Stuart Fork side to the Canyon Creek side at an elevation of about 500 feet below the outcrop of the vein. The adit is now caved.
