A former Cr mine located in sec. 11, T28N, R10W, MDM, 6.0 km (3.7 miles) WSW of Tedoc Mountain (coordinates of record), along the South Fork Beegum Creek, on National Forest land. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 10 meters. Workings located on a shallow NW-facing slope approximately 450 meters N10W of Little Red Mountain summit (NOTE: inconsistent with coordinates provided by the MRDS database).
Mineralization is hosted in serpentinite. The ore body is lenticular in form at a thickness of 3 meters and a length of 10 meters. Local rocks include Jurassic marine rocks, unit 1 (Western Sierra Nevada and Western Klamath Mountains).
Wiorkings include surface and underground openings/operations comprised of an open pit and an adit (1975).
Production data are found in: Wells, F.G. and Hawkes, H.E. (1965).
